What's the worst that could happen?

I just finished reading Tim Ferriss' book, "The 4-Hour Workweek". Highly recommended if you are stuck in the rat-race. One of the things I took away was "What's the worst that could happen?" We all live with horrible, un-named fears about losing our jobs and so on. However, in modern society, there's a "social safety net" designed specifically to catch you should that happen. And, if that failed you, you probably have family or friends who could help you. Furthermore, if you've got a job now, you can probably get another one, right? At my current job, a co-worker left suddenly (and apparently involuntarily) in the middle of last week. As of today, according to LinkedIn, he's already got a new job - his severance package from our workplace probably hasn't even expired yet!

Move beyond your fears, and you'll begin to see the possibilities.
